Enhancement of the strength of high strength alloys and new alloys

Materials that are lighter, cheaper, and stiffer are needed for the bodies of vehicles such as airplanes, automobiles, and so on. Nowadays, a metallic material that can be easily recycled is needed because of the limited resources, reduction in the cost of production, and reduction in carbon dioxide emissions. In this laboratory, research is conducted on the process of achieving a higher strength of easily recycled materials, focusing on aluminum alloy in terms of lightness and cost effectiveness, by combining severe plastic deformation and heat treatment.
Furthermore, the amorphous alloy has been remarkable material for the core in the voltage converter in improving its properties compared with conventional metallic alloys. Therefore, a method of production of this alloy is also investigated in order to better functionalize its properties.
